
A Little About Twitter
Primarily, Tweetalondoncab is a Twitter-based booking service, although we are now available via other channels. Most of our customer's are already familiar with the concept of Twitter and "tweeting". However, if you're new to the social media revolution that is 'Twitter', you may be wondering what it's all about.
Far be it for us mere Cab drivers to tell you all about it, there is a wealth of information out there on the web, but here are a few links to what we think are useful resources for newcomers to Twitter out there.
First off, a couple of quick video introductions to Twitter that you may find useful.
Once you have a grasp of the Twitter-basics, the first thing you need to do is sign up for a Twitter account. You do this by visiting http://twitter.com. Secondly, you need to decide which Twitter client program to use (i.e. the software you use to access the Twitterverse!). You can simply use the standard Twitter interface at http://twitter.com, although this is a little limited in terms of functionality, particularly once you become more demanding with your usage. There are a number of more sophisticated programs you can use that will allow you to perform more complex editing, such as two-part tweets and attaching photo and video content.
